The Launch of the Vendor Partnership Initiative

For years, bureau managers have voiced frustrations about their relationships with software vendors – lack of communication, inconsistent messaging, and the feeling that too many providers still don’t understand the real needs of bureau teams. Too often they feel that vendors care only about selling rather than listening.

At the same time, vendors are working hard to retain clients, strengthen loyalty, and win new bureau business — all while staying ahead of ever-changing legislation and earning trust in a bureau community where leaders now have a real platform to share honest views with their peers. To succeed, vendors they need a different route into the market – one built on insight, collaboration, and trust.

The Association of Bureau Managers exists to close that gap.

As the UK’s only professional body dedicated to supporting payroll bureau leaders and their colleagues, we bring together the decision-makers who shape the outsourced payroll landscape – and we’re opening the door for vendors who genuinely want to engage, listen, and improve.
