Message from Barry Matthews
Founder of the Association of Bureau Managers
“I’ve been working with the payroll profession, primarily bureaus in the accountancy sector, for 20 years and it’s fair to say that I’ve witnessed a lot of change in that time.
I have developed immense respect for the whole payroll industry and the dedication of professionals who care passionately about paying the 32 million people working in the UK. But I have also come to believe that the bureau sector faces challenges which are positively unique and substantially different to those handled by in-house payroll teams and that therefore, they need an organisation dedicated to supporting their needs.”
Booking is open for the following Association of Bureau Managers events
“Being able to collectively come to get together to share our experiences, working practices and perspectives is really valuable.”Alex Fleet, Director at Abco Payroll Ltd.
"I’d highly recommend this group, a great support network, helpful, like-minded group full of wonderful Bureau expertise."Sheryl Steele, PayCaptain
"I found last weeks roundtable session really useful and it spurs me on to keep making change"Helen Connell, Payroll Manager at Trevor Jones & Co
I host a webinar at least once a month and usually on the second Tuesday. Occasionally this will change and, for example, we tend not to have a webinar in December when bureau managers are unusually busy.
