Brain Payroll joins the ABM Vendor Partnership Initiative

We’re delighted to share some genuinely good news for the payroll bureau industry: Brain Payroll has become a valued vendor partner of the Association of Bureau Managers.
The Vendor Partnership Initiative (VPI) changes that dynamic. It replaces a patchwork of one-to-one conversations with a single, structured communications framework – where bureau leaders can speak honestly through a collective voice, and vendors have a trusted, efficient way to listen, learn, and improve.
What this partnership means in practice
The VPI is designed around structured, high-quality engagement that gives bureau leaders a real voice – and gives vendors a trusted way to listen, learn, and improve.
As part of their 12-month partnership, Brain Payroll will be working with ABM and our members through a mix of activities such as:
- In-person focus groups with bureau leaders to gather honest, practical feedback
- Online Q&A sessions to tackle real-world questions (not marketing slides)
- Webinars for the community, promoted by ABM, focused on insight and capability-building
- Clear, dedicated communication routes so updates and feedback don’t get lost in the noise
What members will get out of it
For members, the value is simple and tangible:
- Stronger, clearer vendor relationships – built on consistency and responsiveness
- Earlier visibility of developments and the ability to ask the questions that matter
- A more influential collective voice – replacing scattered one-to-one conversations with feedback that carries real weight
- Practical insight that helps you run a better bureau – service delivery, workflows, product direction, support expectations
This is exactly the kind of progress we want: better partnerships, better conversations, better outcomes.
